ELECTRIC SCOOTER RIDING

What are the requirements for riding an electric scooter?

If you live in South Australia and the Northern Territory, you must be 18 years of age to ride. Meanwhile, other states allow 16-year-olds to ride in public.

Riders should also weigh less than the maximum load of your e-scooter. The EleKtro City has a max load of 100 kg, while the EleKtro Ultra series can carry up to 120 kg.

Riders are also required to wear a helmet while riding. Always check your state’s e-scooter laws for your safety and compliance.

How do I ride an EleKtro electric scooter?

Start by standing with one foot on the deck and one foot on the ground. Kick your foot on the ground to put the e-scooter in motion.

Once it’s gliding, place both feet on the deck and gently engage the throttle. Ensure you are stable and comfortable before riding off at a higher speed.

We highly recommend wearing a helmet and other safety gear like elbow pads, wrist guards, and knee pads for your safety.
